Interior Design Competition – Estonias Presidency of the EU Council
Competition 2016, II Prize
Client: Republic of Estonia, Goverment Office

The concept for Kultuurikatel featured two different style elements. Both accommodate for a specific function and can easily be adapted in the already existing room. Firstly, The element Koda, which grew out of the traditional forest hut of the Estonians. It is a wooden structure with a cone shape and serves the purpose of highlighting the importance of balance. Secondly, the element of natural diversity wall that highlights the importance of nature in Estonia. This creates a self standing panel that carries information as well as serves as a modular element in the whole room. The design as nominated for second place.
